Evidence Based Practice Resources for Nutrition and Dietetics

The following sites gather together systematic reviews and practice guidelines on particular topics. Systematic reviews can also be found by searching an article database such as PubMed.

Cochrane Library

A collection of databases from the Cochrane Library. They are sources of health care data for both providers, patients and those responsible for researching, teaching, funding and administrating at all levels of the medical profession.  Each database must be searched separately.

Clinical Practice Guidelines Infobase

A database of evidence-based Canadian clinical practice guidelines

Health Services/Technology Assessment Texts (HSTAT)

Web-based resource of full-text documents that provide health information and support health-care decision making, from the National Library of Medicine.
