Washington Center Internship Program

UNH, in cooperation with The Washington Center (TWC), offers summer or spring-semester internships with governmental agencies, major corporations, non-profit organizations, think tanks, and advocacy groups in Washington D.C.

Open to students in all majors.

Participants earn UNH credit.

EuroScholars

Study abroad program for students with a GPA of 3.4 or above to spend a semester as a junior researcher at one of the top European research institutions. Students apply to the ongoing research project of their choice in the EuroScholars database. Research opportunities are offered in the sciences and engineering, education, agriculture, health, humanities and the arts.

(UNH) Winant Fellowships

Pays a generous stipend for a summer internship with a New Hampshire nonprofit organization or government agency, recognizing exceptional students with an interest in the nonprofit and public sectors.

Open to New Hampshire residents who are juniors, seniors, or recent graduates.

Hamel Center for Undergraduate Research

Provides the resources and financial support for the research, scholarly, and creative projects of undergraduate students.

Through the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP), students may apply for Undergraduate Research Awards (URAs) and Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships (SURFs).

The Hamel Center also administers the International Research Opportunities Program (IROP), Research Experience and Apprenticeship Program (REAP), Study Abroad Research Grants, Honors Thesis Grants, and Research Presentation Grants.
