How to Interlibrary Loan an Article or Book You Found Online

Article pay walls got you down? Luckily, you have access to a free service called Interlibrary Loan that can get you articles or books that we do not have immediate access to.

1. From the library's homepage (library.unh.edu), select Interlibrary Loan just beneath Borrow from Other Libraries.

2. Next, log in with your UNH ID and password. Underneath New Request, select the most relevant label for what you are requesting.

3. Manually fill out the required fields of the ILL form. Required fields are indicated by a red *. Try to leave the Notes field blank as it might slow down your request.

4. After you have filled out all of the required fields, click Submit Request at the bottom of the page. Within a couple of hours to a couple of days, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the article or pick up the physical book you requested.
