LibKey Nomad and Browzine User Guide

What is Libkey Nomad?

LibKey Nomad is a browser extension available for most browsers. What it does:

When you find an article anywhere online, it provides a button for a direct link to the full text, either

  • through the UNH Library databases (if it's library-licensed or open access) OR
  • through UNH InterLibrary Loan (if the library cannot provide full text).

It does not track you - but it does provide the library with important use information so that we know what researchers (you!) need. Download the LibKey Nomad browser extension for your browser!

Wikipedia & PubMed

In most browsers, the article access button will appear in the lower left-hand corner of the screen. But for Wikipedia and PubMed it's a little different.

You will find LibKey Nomad buttons also in Wikipedia references and in PubMed searches.

  • In Wikipedia references, these will be either "Download PDF" or "Access Options" buttons.
  • In PubMed you may also have the button to "View Complete Issue" as well. This button allows you to browse the table of contents for the journal issue that the article is published in - a great feature when you have a themed issue!

Example of LibKey Nomad in PubMed. A journal cover image, links to download the PDF and view the complete issue, and access options are all circled.
