A search scope, or a search profile, is a way for users to search specific types of items in the catalog. For instance, the scope "Library Catalog & Articles" searches (almost) everything the UNH Durham Library owns or has access to. The "Course Reserves" scope only searches items that are currently on reserve for courses at UNH Durham.
