Best practice for sharing data is to use a disciplinary-specific repository - such as GenBank for genetic sequence data or ICPSR for social and behavioral research data. To locate a repository for archiving or sharing your data, search the Registry of Research Data Repositories (re3data.org) and the Data Repository listing on the Open Access Directory Wiki
