UNH Organizations and Resources
UNH Alliance
Alliance is committed to making a safe environment not only for students within the organization but around Durham as well. We strive to create a community without prejudice. It is the belief of Alliance that students should be able to feel comfortable expressing their identity across campus and not feel alienated from fellow students.
Safe Zones - LGBTQA+ Resources at UNH
UNH Safe Zones is an educational program to raise awareness of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, aromantic, pansexual and other (LGBTQIA+) issues and contribute to a campus climate of inclusion at UNH
Housing & Residential Life - Gender Inclusive Housing
UNH recognizes the importance of providing students an environment in which they are comfortable, including considering the gender identity of roommate(s). We know that same-gender roommate assignments are not appropriate for or desired by all students. Gender Inclusive Housing seeks to provide an environment that is welcoming to all gender identities. Students may choose to share a room with someone of any gender identity that is most comfortable and appropriate to their own identity.
Trans UNH
Trans UNH is a group made to provide transgender, gender non-binary, and gender non-conforming students with a safe space to talk about trans related issues and experiences.
