Below is a list of common services offered by the University of New Hampshire Library system. Each of these services is directly available at the Physics Library service desk.

InterLibrary Loan (ILL)
Interlibrary Loan is the ability to borrow books from other libraries, free to the borrower.

Intercampus Loan
See what you need, but it's in our Manchester campus Library? Just let us know!!! You DO NOT need to drive to Manchester. We'll do the work for you!
After Hours Access
At the Physics Library, you could gain after hours access privileges. This service is available to UNH Physics Department Faculty and Grad Students ONLY. Please inquire at the service desk.
Scanning
You can scan for FREE at all UNH Library locations. At the UNH Branch Libraries, we are able to set our photocopiers to scan instead of copy. There are directions posted on the wall next to the photocopier.
Laptops
Each UNH Library location has a variety of laptops to circulate to patrons. Please have your UNH ID ready. Laptops circulate for 4 hours at a time. You can check out wireless laptops, as well as laptops that connect to the UNH Cluster.

FREE WI-FI/ETHERNET ACCESS: at all UNH Library locations, you may use our wireless internet or ethernet for free, using your own laptop.
Conference Rooms
The Physics Library (as well as the EMCS branch Library and Dimond) have conference rooms users may sign out for their use. You may sign up for a conference room for 3 hours at a time. You may sign up for a room up to 3 months ahead of time. The Physics Library Conference room seats 8-10 people, has 2 whiteboards and a LCD screen to connect to your laptop or show videos on.
Citation help and Information Access Services/Reference Help

Circulating Laptops
We have 2 cluster laptops and 2 wireless laptops that we can circulate to UNH Library users with a valid UNH ID. These circulate for 4 hours at a time, but can only be used within the Physics Library.
