Wikipedia is one of the most widely used reference websites in the world. While it’s an incredible resource, gaps in representation remain, often reflecting systemic bias. This Black History Month, we’re coming together to make a difference by improving Wikipedia’s coverage of Black histories—and we want you to join us!
No experience? No problem. Whether you’re a seasoned editor or brand new to Wikipedia, we’ll provide everything you need to get started, from training to resources and support.

Join Our Editing Dashboard Track your contributions and join the community effort through the UNH Black History Month Wikipedia Editing Dashboard. The dashboard will remain open through Friday, February 28, so you can edit on your own time.
Explore Topics The 2025 Black History Month theme, African Americans and Labor, might inspire your contributions, but feel free to bring your own ideas. We’ll also share a list of suggested topics to help you get started.
