UNH Library Reservable Room Policy

​​​​​​Current UNH students, faculty, and staff are welcome to reserve rooms in the library for non-commercial, academic and administrative use. Due to high demand for library spaces, registrar-scheduled classes and student groups needing meeting space for non-academic purposes should seek space on campus allocated for the specific use (e.g., student activities in the Memorial Union Building).

Collaboration Room Use Policy

  • Rooms are available for non commercial, academic and administrative use
  • One reservation per person, per day
  • Two-hour maximum time per reservation
  • Reservations can be made up to two weeks in advance
  • Room should be left in good order (put trash in receptacles, turn off equipment, reset furniture and erase whiteboards)

The following collaboration rooms/spaces can be reserved via the University's room reservation system (EMS).

  • Dimond Library: 121, 123, 125, 221A, 349, 351, 537 and 221 B-G (huddle spaces)
  • DeMeritt (Physics Library): 114B
  • Kingsbury S236 L-P and S236 1-6 (huddle spaces)

Conference Room Use Policy

  • Library conference rooms are available for all to use with priority given to administrative use Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Dimond Library and priority given to collaborative use during library hours in Physics and Kingsbury Libraries
  • Reservations (including recurring) require 24 hours’ notice (not including weekends) and may be made up to 8 weeks in advance. If you have special circumstances, please email Jennifer.Daly@unh.edu or call 603-862-1540 for assistance
  • Room should be left in good order (put trash in receptacles, turn off equipment, reset furniture and erase whiteboards)

The following conference rooms can be reserved via the University's room reservation system (EMS)

  • Dimond: 327, 343, 352 and 537 
  • DeMeritt: 114B
  • Kingsbury S236P and 236

Instruction/Training Spaces Policy

  • Limited number of spaces available for instruction and training with priority given to library-related instruction
  • Rooms may be reserved up to 2 weeks in advance

The following instruction/training spaces can be reserved via the University's room reservation system (EMS)

  • Dimond Library: 235, 421 and 521

Student Accessibility Services (SAS) Exam Proctoring Room Use Policy

  • Reservations in Kingsbury available to CEPS faculty
  • All other faculty may reserve exam space in Dimond Library 

The following instruction/training spaces can be reserved via the University's room reservation system (EMS)

  • Dimond: Studio 235
  • Kingsbury: S236 L-P

Special Event Space Use Policy

  • Large (Addison, Courtyard and Hubbard) Reading rooms in Dimond Library may be available for special events.  Please email Jennifer.Daly@unh.edu or call 603-862-1540 for more information.
